WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN!
KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION
Kindergarten Orientation will take place on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm at your child's elementary school. No appointment is required.
If you are unsure of which elementary school attendance are you are in, please contact Student Services at 913-288-4123.
KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT
Students that are currently attending Pre-K in Turner are automatically enrolled in Kindergarten and DO NOT need to complete a new enrollment application.
We will begin accepting Pre-K and Kindergarten new student enrollment applications online beginning April 30th, 2024.
All kindergarten students must be 5 years old by August 31st of the current school year.
To enroll your child in Kindergarten, you will need:
New students enrolling in USD 202 will need to provide the following:
- Proof of Residency: A utility bill or lease is needed to establish residency in Turner USD 202.
- Student's State Issued Birth Certificate: Required at the time of enrollment for pre-k and kindergarten students entering school for the first time. Any other student without a birth certificate submitted within 30 days of enrollment will be referred to the District Attorney's Office pursuant to Kansas State Law 72-53,106.
- State Issued Identification of Parent/Guardian
- Immunization Record

Completed Physical Form: Required within 90 days of enrollment for pre-k and kindergarten students.
