Parent Portal Activation link
Once your online enrollment has been submitted and is complete, our student services department will send you an email to activate your Parent Portal account. It is not instantaneous, but it should arrive within the first five days after enrollment is complete.
Please note that the activation link expires after two days of receiving the email, so you need to prioritize this new enrollment task. Parent Portal is where you will be able to access the majority of your students information and accounts. If you need assistance, email parentportalhelp@turnerusd202.org.
Parent Acknowledgement Forms
Within the first week of being enrolled, the Parent Acknowledgement forms will be uploaded to your Parent Portal account. These must be digitally signed and submitted as soon as possible.
It can be done through Parent Portal by clicking on "Documents" in the side menu bar. Secondary students will not receive their district laptop until Parent Acknowledgements are completed.
Free/Reduced Meal Applications
We encourage all families to complete the free/reduced meal application to check eligibility. Students who qualify for free/reduced school meals may qualify for other benefits as well. Those benefits may include discounts on ACT/SAT testing fees, college application fees, as well as home internet and technology devices, among others.
Students who qualify for free/reduced school meals receive the same school meal options and check out process as students who do not receive free/reduced school meals.
The free meals, which are safe, nutritious, and delicious, help extend family food budgets too. For more information, contact Megan Rabun, Food Services Coordinator, at (913) 288-4141.
Bus Transportation
If you want your student to be a bus rider, you needed to mark that during the online enrollment process. Transportation route information and bus tracking is available through the My Ride K12 app.
To access your student's information through My Ride K12, you will need their student ID number. You can locate this in Parent Portal.
If you have any questions regarding your student's route, please contact the Transportation Department at 913-288-3700.
Student Health Services
Information about administering medication at school, new student physicals, nurse contact information, and more can be found on our Health Services webpage.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal
Infinite Campus Parent Portal is where parents/guardians are able to access student fees, food service balance, student contact and demographic information, student absences and tardies, student class schedules, enrollment, student state assessment scores, and messages from the school or district.
Parents/guardians create their Infinite Campus Parent Portal log-in during enrollment through the email address used for enrollment. If you have questions or aren't sure of what your log-in is, call Student Services at 913-288-4123.
Schoology - Class Assignment Information
Schoology is a platform used by teachers to input grades, assignments, and class updates. Parents/guardians may want to use Schoology to see what assignments their child has in class, missing or incomplete assignments, messages from their teacher, curriculum outlines, and assignment grades (also available in Infinite Campus Parent Portal).
School Attendance
Students get 10 excused absences per school year. To be excused, you must call the school front office or submit the absence through Parent Portal. If a student has more than 10 absences in a school year, both the parent/guardian and the student will be considered truant and referred to our Truancy Department.
For more information, you can read through our attendance policy.
