PUBLIC RELATIONS

The Public Relations department is responsible for district communications and stakeholder engagement. The department informs and engages the Turner community and alumni through several communication channels, including social media and Turner Today, the district's quarterly magazine.

COMMUNITY & ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT

Turner USD 202 seeks mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses, non-profit organizations, and civic groups to enrich students’ academic achievement. School partnerships support instruction through the expansion of expertise, resources, and opportunities.

Benefits of Partnerships

Matching schools with businesses and community organizations can:

  • Enrich the curriculum and expand resources;
  • Expand teaching resources and collaborations;
  • Identify and develop career readiness skills;
  • Increase awareness of career opportunities;
  • Provide students with hands-on opportunities to apply skills learned in the classroom;
  • Offer understanding of workforce needs;
  • Support the transition from high school graduation to the workforce.

USD 202 offers many opportunities for community engagement with our schools. Local businesses, organizations, and individuals interested in partnering with our district should contact our Director of Public Relations, Lauren Aiello, at AielloL@TurnerUSD202.org.
