Congratulations to Arianna Ortiz who came in first place at the girls 5A/6A wrestling state championship in the 100lb weight class! She won 4 - 3 against her competitor from Salina South. Arianna has made history as the first ever girls wrestling state champion for Turner High School! We are so proud of her!

To recognize her history making success, Arianna was recognized in front of both the Kansas House and the Kansas Senate with a Proclamation from our locally elected officials, Representative Melissa Oropeza and Senator Pat Pettey. In attendance were Arianna's family along with Coach Paul Hansen and THS Principal Mark Farrar. Congratulations again to Arianna!
