Everyone has multiple ways they can learn. These ways are call Multiple Intelligences and we all contain some of each but most of us have stronger MI areas that help us learn in specific ways. Every student of mine is asked to complete an online survey that helps them to identify which of the MI types they perceive as helping them to learn more easily. Naturalist Intelligence -
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information using organizational skills, labeling and regrouping techniques, related to the nature. It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information using logical reasoning and understanding why something is done a certain way. It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information using an understanding of how the information is related to their beliefs/views and how it fits into the "big picture". It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information working with other people and studying in discussion groups. It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information by restating it in their own words and by listening. It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information by understanding how it will effect them personally. It is not part of their grade.
This multiple intelligence score reflects the student's ability to learn new information using images and visuallizing the information. It is not part of their grade.
